Highschool student, Founder and experienced podcaster Kaija Guyon’s mission is turning cherished stories into lasting podcasts for generations to enjoy. Hearing her late grandma’s stories about her love of dance always made her full of joy. That joy is what needs to be spread among family members and friends.
From concept and scripting to setup, equipment recording, and editing, HobbyCast handles every step so you can focus on sharing your voice and your memories with your family. Whether you’re a first-time host or a seasoned storyteller, we’re here to help you give something meaningful to your children and grandchildren, and have fun along the way.

Hi, I'm Kaija Guyon, the founder of HobbyCast. For the past seven years, I've been creating podcasts and using storytelling to bring people together. My passion began when my sister and I volunteered at local retirement homes, singing Christmas carols and listening to the incredible stories of seniors in our community.
During the pandemic, we created Languages through Music, a podcast, and Virtual Grandchildren a video series that helped connect seniors with others when they couldn't see their loved ones—a project featured by Collingwood Today.
Those experiences inspired me to create HobbyCast: a place where families can preserve their stories, memories, and voices through heartfelt podcasts that can be shared for generations.
